VACCINATIONS: For your protection and ours, it is our policy that all pets that we are caring for are current on their vaccinations. North Carolina law requires that all owned dogs, cats and ferrets must be vaccinated against rabies by four months of age. You can document your pets’ vaccinations in our online client information and scheduling system.

ID TAGS: We highly recommend that your pets wear ID tags or are microchipped while they are under our care for their protection.

CATS: We require that cats are provided with daily visits for their own protection. We do not do every-other-day visits or any pet sitting with cats other than daily visits. PLEASE, no exceptions.

RESERVATIONS: To schedule walks or visits, please go on https://www.swifto.com and schedule them on the main website. Wagz N Whiskerz joined forces with Swifto, but all Swifto dog walkers and pet sitters in the lake norman area are Wagz N Whiskerz pet sitters.

LATE RESERVATIONS: While we don’t charge extra for last minute requests, we are only able to gaurantee availability if we have at least 5 business hours notice for dog walks and pet sitting requests, and a full business days notice for any overnights.

HOME ACCESS: If your home requires keys for access, we are happy to provide a FREE lockbox for easy access.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

All of our payments are done automatically online via credit card. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. As a new client you will be billed for the first time only after you’ve had your first meet and greet and confirmed you would like to proceed with the scheduled walks, and in that case will be charged for the first time a week after your first walk. After that, by default, you will be charged on the Friday before your scheduled walks every week, however, you can change your billing frequency to monthly on your dashboard and in that case, will be charged on the 1st of every month for the following month’s schedule.

If you add additional walks throughout the month/week, you’ll be charged an hour after the walk has been scheduled. If you add last-minute walks or walks where you only want a specific dog walker, you will only be charged once the walk has been confirmed. 

TIPS: You have the option of tipping your sitter for excellent service. You can set this up in your profile to automatically apply a tip to each invoice, you can include a tip at the time your pay your invoice or you can send a tip to your sitter after service has been completed. Tips are completely voluntary and although not required, are very much appreciated by your sitter.

NOTES: Once your visit/walk begins, notifications are automatically sent to you via sms when the walk starts and ends, as well as live poop alerts and photos of your dog along the way. At the end of every visit, you’ll get a note from your walker and a link to view the GPS-tracked route. You can also watch the walk live when you log into your account on Swifto.com or on the app. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 24 hour notice for any cancellations.

AGGRESSIVE PETS/BITERS POLICY: It is the responsibility of all pet owners, spouses or informed parties to inform Wagz ‘n Whiskerz Pet Sitting during Consultations, Profile Creation and/or at any time after any occurrence of pet aggression and/or attacks, (including attempted biting) where any other animals, children or adults had any potential involvement. For the safety of our team and your pets, we reserve the right to refuse service requests for aggressive pets or those with a bite history.

PRIVACY POLICY: Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to www.wagznwhiskerz.com and Wagz ‘n Whiskerz Pet Sitting and governs data collection and usage. The Wagz ‘n Whiskerz Pet Sitting website is an informational website and by using this website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
